With this product, when a user requests to connect to the Firewall, their identity is verified through SMS, creating a two-factor authentication firewall. FortiToken requires users to authenticate not only with a username and password but also through a physical device. It provides users with a physical device called a Token. This Token generates an authentication code that automatically changes within a specific timeframe. Users confirm their identity by entering the correct code. This way, knowing only the username and password is not enough; access to a physical device is also required. This helps to secure accounts more effectively and prevents unauthorized access. FortiToken integrates with other solutions in the Fortinet family, providing users with secure authentication while accessing the network, applications, and resources.
